A memorial for late prep coaching legend Bill Gentry will be held on Friday (Nov. 5) at noon at Highland High School.
Gentry died on June 21, 2020, at age 94.
Gentry was the head football coach at Highland from 1958-88, winning state championships in 1963, 65 and 1986. He also coached Eldorado High from 1989-1995.
The memorial is being presented by the Highland alumni association in conjunction with Highland High.
The guest speakers include players, former coaches and family members.
